Having an event you want everyone to know about? Fill out this form and we can help you out with that!
If you've filled out a form and your event has been approved, please see the advertising guildelines below
Got your event approved? Awesome! Now it’s time to spread the word. Posters and notices help events succeed and make Ashmore feel alive, but to keep things fair and uncluttered, please follow these guidelines.
Include all details. Posters should list the date, time, location, dress code (if applicable), and other important information.
Keep it realistic. Posters that are overly lewd or graphic are not permitted in public areas.
Size limit. Posters may not exceed 1.5m x 2.5m, in either landscape or portrait orientation.
Poster limit. No more than 5 posters may be placed on the sim (all levels combined).
Respect locations.
Do not place posters on municipal buildings (Police, Fire, Hospital, City Hall) without consent from CLs or department leads.
Do not place posters on private or official businesses without the owner’s permission.
Good placement spots. Large empty walls (like the brick wall at W. Feldspar and Church St.) are great for posters.
Be considerate. Don’t cover someone else’s poster with your own.
OOC Landing Zone Advertiser. You may also send a portrait-oriented poster to Kali in-world to have it added to the advertiser board in the OOC landing zone.
If you don’t have notice rights in the OOC group (non-business owners or staff), contact the Radio Station Manager (Saiomy) or the Chamber of Commerce (Lexie) for help posting.
Event notices in Discord or the OOC chat may include your poster, but the text must include all key details: date, time, location, dress code, etc.
In the 5 days leading up to your event, you may post one notice per day in OOC chat and/or Discord.
Do not advertise while another event is currently happening.
Do not post directly after another notice; wait at least one hour before posting.
That’s it. Keep it clear, respectful, and timely, and your event will get the attention it deserves.
